  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    I wouldn't doubt it! Not sure to the exact figures of your quote, but tons of online vendors have continually varying aged stock. It's hard for me to believe that, for example, sticks just got "buried" since 1983. Now who ages them, whether it's PCCHK and/or other companies, is unknown to me...

    That might support the more recent customs/hsd crackdown theory. Hopefully it turns out to be not too threatening of a letter. I have honestly not heard of too many mean letters from customs (at least not recently), as most of the threatening stuff comes from OFAC. Again, anything I say here...

It was pretty much a letter from OFAC stating that, based on information provided by ICE (i.e., customs seized a package and let OFAC know), so-and-so bought some number of cuban cigars, which were imported...

    Altadis is being sold to Imperial Tobacco for maybe $17 or $18 Billion. Didn't see any discussion on it thus far. Altadis owns tons of domestic brands along with 50% of Habanos S.A.(I think). What do you think will become of this little merger? TYLER

    I'd almost think the latter would be easier. I never saw his front wheels turn or his body lean at all, and it pivoted like it was skid steering. Individual rear brakes would be my guess! TYLER

    Never had any problems here! Brought cigars from 7200 feet at my house to sea level on a cruise ship in the Mediterranean and they were fine. I just pack 'em in a caddy with a 65% Boveda and they smoke like a charm every time! Maybe I just get lucky, or am too drunk to notice! TYLER

    Grew up huntin'. At my parent's house we have deer, elk, bighorn sheep (my dad got like the #7 biggest ram in the world with a bow), bears, mountain goats, and the like hanging all over the place. Only ever done big game with a bow and arrow, but I really enjoy bird and rabbit hunting too...

    Tubos or NOT to Tubos?

    Love 'em too. Sig IIIs, IVs, and Vs are coming out in tubos this year, along with Mag 46 tubos (really excited!), Monte Edmundo and Petit Edmundo tubos, and PSP2 tubos. Kinda looks like there will be a better tubo selection in the upcoming years. I also really like Punch Royal Coronation...
