• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    Portable Ashtray

Alright gentlemen, here's where were at. The cradle is pretty sweet, and now comes the tray. I thought I had conquered the quest for material, but alas! The aluminum I picked up, has too much "memory" and won't relax to a flat state. It's aircraft grade .025 or 22 ga. Gonna have to find...

    Portable Ashtray

Very cool, I saw some nice cordura zippered bags at a wholesale liquidation place the other day. They look like a bank deposit bag but 3/4 the size and in black. I'll stop by and see if they still have some.

If This Keeps Up I am Riding my Bicycle

You go Steve, good deal. Scooter cars don't fit my needs (towing/hauling). My truck's a 3/4 ton 4wd, I'm figurin my odds of surviving a collision are pretty good compared to the gas pinchers. Another reason I don't ride street bikes anymore. California commuters are clueless. OK, I feel...

If This Keeps Up I am Riding my Bicycle

Do you remember, for years-diesel was cheaper than the gas. Then, I think the oil companies got greedier (if there is such a thing for those cs'rs) and figured that they sold way more diesel, so why not charge more. Think about all the trucks, ships, trains and ag equipment used. Hell I think...

Back out to the shop today, to work on the ashtrays. The week kind of got away from us, as my FIL passed thursday evening. What a great guy, he was 93 and lived a full life. Raised 5 kids, 4 that were inherited and provided for all. God speed Dwight. Anyway, watching Golf/NASCAR in the shop...

    sshhhhhhhhhhhhh... i'm trying to golf...

That's aloowable, we've got our range kids trained to flash the hazards, if they get tagged. Hard enough to hit a static target much less a moving one. A hawk, that's kinda the bad part. Now there are plenty of crows, coulda wacked one of those-and nobody would have missed those pesky...
