BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Wife spent $900 on a...
I hear that kirby vacuum's are real good but high price I think for the name. I have never used one but I think that dyson makes a much better vacuum and are definitely worth the money (no more than 500). My mother bought one a few years ago and it worked really good for picking up dog hair...- cashedash

Cut Preference
Double blade. However I have only used this kind of cut for all of my smokes. The only thing I don't like is that my cutter is a cheap craftsmen. Its a little difficult to cut with at times.- cashedash

How do you know the pipe you are getting is not used (or is that what estate means)? Or if you do know its used they how do you know its safe to use? Do you smoke them if they are used? -

I agree. They say in their commercial "Save money. Live better." But if you are saving money buy living off of their oven pizza's and other junk food you living better is not going to be so good when your health goes down hill. Pipers ROLL CALL!!
I have bought a Dr. Grabow and some cherry tobacco. I have only smoked a couple bowls but I hope to enjoy many more. Supposing my mom and dad are okay with it once I tell them I want to pick up the pipe. -

Nice observation. I decided not to give up cigars but I just don't do it as often. I did pick up a pipe and some pipe tobacco. So far I like it better but I just need to save the smoking for relaxing, socializing, or doing while doing something else. I can not sit in a box with nothing but a... -

Thank you very much for the link. The only problem I have with ordering on line is my parents are going to be wondering what's in the box when I get it. The shop did not have more than maybe 7 choices for pipe tobacco but I will have to ask them if that is all they offer next time I am there. -

I just got my pipe 34 dollars for the Dr. Grabow briar pipe. And some cherry tobacco, smoked it and enjoyed it very much. I did not know that pipes had filters until today when I took mine apart. 1.If I take my pipe apart every time I smoke to put in a new filter won't the fit become lose... -

Now that I think about it I think the only thing I ever do is smoke cigars. I need to entertain myself wit more than just cigars. I usually sit outside or in my garage so there is nothing keeping me busy but my cigar. I am not sure yet if I want to completely give it up but I will let you guys... -

I got the idea from a thing I read on Winston Churchill. His cigar butts were collected and given to his gardener which he smoked in his pipe. Would you want to grind them or cut them with a cutter a few time to get em to fit in the bowl? Or a better question would the tobacco taste bad from...
