72% RH and 75 degrees good?

I agree. Bovedas are the way. They are ideal, because unlike many other options, they will also *absorb* excess humidity.

72% RH and 75 degrees good?

I think your OK. Just keep your RH monitored. 65% is ideal. Get a boveda hygrometer ccalibration kit(they are cheap) a decent hygrometer and some bovedas. I recommend 65% for summer and 69% for winter. But you can always just keep the 65s in and it won't hurt anything. Like, 58 to 69 rh is a...

72% RH and 75 degrees good?

I say 65% at 70 degrees, and increase RH at lower temps, IE 70% at 60 degrees and below(as far as bovedas) For me, I switch bovedas during the winter to higher RH. Why? Easy: Cold air holds less moisture, so you need more agressive humidification. During the winter, my 65% RH bovedas only get my...

Any Botls in Manhattan New York?

First day in new York! I hit up the Davidoff club today, tried my first Davidoff a "Special R" Robusto. Pretty good smoke. Was a trip being in there, all filled with big shot businessmen talking about stocks and buying vacation homes and stuff! Everyone was super chill though and I got to listen...

Getting burnt out on one cigar?

Definitely, the same blend can taste pretty different between one viola to the next, due to wrapper and filler ratio differences etc.

Revisiting cigars from your early days

How often do you revisit cigars from your early days of smoking? My humidor is filled with the detritus of around five years or so of a cigar experience and occasionally I will grab something and realize that it has been with me since nearly the beginning. Right now for instance I'm smoking a...
