ok, it looks like we pissed off a customs agent lol... the customs agent recieved 23 shipments of cigars and demanded that the duty be paid BEFORE the cigars are released, in this case it was $2.25, however the fucking shipping company charges a $50 fee ontop of the duty and they to do this on my behalf, there is no alternative, so you either pay or they send it back to the shipper. just faxed over the paperwork and they claim it will be overnighted to me so i get them tomorrow.

i'm eating the cost right now but promocigar said they would deduct the amount from my next order so no worries, just thought it was kinda funny really. if those were intact, that would have been a pretty shitty deal for promo so good thing they reband...

it was the on on your check i believe, i don't recall i have it at home i'll have to check it. they were sent usps with dc. they should get there today, i would imagine.

yeah, i'd love to have a smoke with you austin guys, i was actually up there two weeks ago on business but i wasn't able to get any advanced notice to post anything. i'll be there on monday but again, i think it will be straight there and back as i usually haul ass to beat traffic. two weeks ago i had a smoke in the patio at "romeos" with someone, not too bad.

i think a few of us are going to try to get together at the cigar club at 1604 and 281 this weekend, jeff, myself, maybe jack, maybe gary, i don't know for sure yet. but maybe we can do something.

That's exactly what I was afraid of..The address on my checks is our old address. I ordered those checks and we moved a month later. I didnt want to waste 4 boxes of checks but I would rather sacrifice those checks than those sticks. Especially considering the fact that it is 200 degrees in the shade. It's all good....they will get to me eventually since I request for change of addy.

Would you happen to have the dc#?
