Yeah, Disco has not gotten alot of good reviews. Having said that these 4 of the apps are exceptionally good.

Textmate - Best text editor for the mac, period.
Delicious Library - Excellent movie/book/cd inventory organizer. Use your iSight as a barcode scanner
Shapeshifter - Theme your mac, must have app.
Newsfire - Sweet RSS reader

Is Textmate better than BBEdit? I've been using it for a decade now, I can't imagine anything better (although I do not dispute that something COULD be better...I've just never bothered to look elsewhere).

Also, Delicious is awesome, as is Newsfire. Disco's interface is cute, but it gets annoying; I'll stick with Toast.

Shapeshifter...ugh, all it did for me was jack up a perfectly running computer, necessitating a nuke-&-pave cleanup effort.

For the things I do, I like Textmate better. I've used BBEdit for the last 5 years and I still use it, mainly for multiple document search.
