Hey, I'm no where near bald...you wish you had this head of hair!!! I'll think of your bald head as I'm cruising the LCdH in Mexico next week!

You're now on the list...
Not a whole lot you can do if when you step outside you burst into flames!
Whew! All this heat is getting to me, think I'll have a mojito on my patio when I get home.
I better put a lot of ice in it, it's supposed to be 78 for a high!

I just spent yesterday installing a mister system around our front porch.

The package the kit came in said half hour installation time, but that was for a porch that was built on a slab. My porch is 5 feet off the ground, and I had to stand on the rails of the porch in order to nail the pipes up.

The system does a really good job of cooling off the front porch, maybe 12 degrees cooler than the outside air. That may not sound like much, but add to that the fact that sometimes the mist comes back into the porch and covers you with a fine layer of mist.

It took a while, and I came close to death when I almost fell off the the railing, but I managed to make the install look really nice. Almost professional, if I do say so myself.

The real test will come this sunday, when projected temperatures are going to be above 104 degrees.

:)
