That's right everyone, the deed has been done! After 5 days in Vegas, I am back home RESTING from one helluva busy/fun/amazing time in Sin-City!
With never having been to Vegas, I didn't quite know what to expect. Sure I've heard stories and everyone telling me how crazy it is, but I wasn't sure how I'd take it. All I can say is "WOW".
Land at 3:30pm, get picked up and dropped off at hotel. Check-In, then we were picked up and taken to our chapel for rehearsal, then to get our marriage license. Dinner for everyone was around 7:30pm inside of the Forum Shops @ Caesar's Palace.....UNREAL. I had the lobster stuffed ravioli
After dinner, the men and I went to Casa Fuente to meet a BOTL for some cigars and mojitos. After being bombed upon taking my seat, I quickly fired RIGHT BACK I then grabbed a tray and headed into their humidor. A very small humidor. However, it was the most nicely stocked humidor I've ever been in. Picked up a 5'er of CF Lanceros (had to convince the guy to sell me more than limit of 2. I think the RyJ Escudos EL '07 that I handed him helped, but he was going to get that from me regardless. Very cool guy.), 3 Corona Gordas, 3 Belicosos and 3 robustos.
After about 4 mojitos, we stumbled out of there when they closed at 12pm and started hitting some casinos. Lets just say I should have went back to my room at that time, rather than 5am, which is when I stumbled/crawled into the room.
We got married on Saturday at 2pm and it was perfect. The rest of our trip included walking up and down the strip, both at night and during the day, hit a lot of bars and casinos, ate at some of the nicest (and most expensive) restaurants I've ever been too and just had a really great time with our families.
Now, it's back to reality. Looking forward to going there again, but NO GAMBLING!!!!
Thanks for taking the time to read this, everyone.
