So I was offered these for 125....

Are they worth the money??

That's not a "steal" by any means... I think that's right around what a box would go for. Perhaps a little more due to 4 years of age on them.

I find them worth it. But tastes may differ between us. Have ye tried them or another Bolivar? Maybe start sampling if ye still do not know which CCs ye like.

Not that it makes them taste any better, but those do have the LCDH band on them. Something a bit different.

And I would say at $12.50 a stick, for 4 years of age on a great cigar is a good deal.

Seems like a 'fair' price. Bearing in mind that statement is coming from a Canadian, it's probably over priced a bit. heh. Good smoke though. I like them.

FWIW, I have found them for $113.40 CAD plus shipping here in Canada. No clue if they'd be an '06 though.

Never had a gold medal, but the Bolis I have had have been among my favorites from that region, especially the RC.

I really don't have a clue about CCs. I know I have had some Bolivar Beli Finos that were amazing, but didn't know how these would compare.

GMs are great. With the age, it's an ok price, but considering you can get them elsewhere for about 40 - 45% less, it'd be worth a shot to talk down the price a bit.

Unless some were pre-dated the 2007 re-release of these then they can't be 2006??? There was a special 2004 release in Germany that did NOT have the LCDH 2nd band BUT the release that these look like are from 2007.

I don't know about years on this one, but I just bought a box for just under $100 from dubai.

I love it... It's a great stick... But then, I like most Bolivars, especially the new EL Petit Bellicosos and the Royal Corona is an all time favorite.

Talk him down... It's a good stick. You'll enjoy it if you like that profile.

Yup, this is true.

OAN, you can pick up '07's for about $70 a box (of 10 sticks) when you buy in quantity. My last 7 boxes cost me an average of $68 each.

yeah tell him you want to try one first, a friend would let you have one, then tell him a $100...Cause there's one missing....LOL... nah you should def try them first before you buy a whole box, but hey i am still a newbie...
