  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

it quite possibly could have been Oct 08 stamped on the box and not Oct 06. Either way, I am going to see if he will sell a single. I'll offer him a 10 spot.

Unless some were pre-dated the 2007 re-release of these then they can't be 2006??? There was a special 2004 release in Germany that did NOT have the LCDH 2nd band BUT the release that these look like are from 2007.
This is wrong. The Wolter's release absolutely has the LCDH band.

Walters release have the same bands as the regular production ones thy just are box dated 2004, and I am 99% sure the regular productions were first box coded at Jun or Jul 07 and if you find them earlier I would be very cautious. otherwise thogh a fantastic smoke with a couple years on them, but fresh not so much. One of the best bolis out there IMO if you can be patient with them.

I always keep atleast two of these boxes on hand, and you can get them from $75 to $100, but not 4 years old. Even with 3 to 4 years it is a little high.

it just depends on where you are buying them from though. $125 is the price you will pay for these from some vendors. Its not gauging, but these can be found for less.

I do believe that these Boli GM are from 2007.
That is a reasonable price for a very good smaller rg cigar. These have been smoking exceptionally lately. The are a tremendous cigar ROTT and must be more interesting with 2-3 more yrs.

Enjoy your smokes,
Drew P

Yep, the Wolters released does have the LCDH Label...

Interestingly, the Wolters release (ie 2004) have about 1/8" difference in length between them and the '08 release...

Thought I posted this somewhere but can't find it! My appologies if I am just screwed up but........

You can get GM's for $70 a box right now if you buy in quantity. I think you have to buy 7 boxes. By the time you smoke a box and put a couple into deep sleep, that's only enough for 2 botl's!

So it seems the general consensus is that he overshot by quite a bit.

That being the case, I decided to skip these and bought some firecrackers instead!

Thank for all of the helpful input! :stretchgr

Personally these did nothing for me...very bland and near tasteless..but I have only had one so it might have been a fluke. I vote RC or CE.

i'll never forget the first one i had. a gift from gibble, and it was bad. i'm sure he thought i was crazy. but, i forged ahead and tried another later on, and it was great. learned an important lesson about cc's that time.

The last BGM I had was very badly plugged and upon inspection it had a huge stem running straight down the middle. I never had this problem with the Wolters release.
