I love that this is on all the time. A lot of sports I know nothing about but so entertaining to watch.

Dude, they throw that thing down the ice and then mop in front of it like mad men.

I really don't get it. I guess I should read up on it.

I don't know...ever since I saw them do a story on how other countries have curling places that are like big bars I've been hooked. :dunno:

I actually find it enthralling.

Curling would definitely seem fun. Throw the marble ball down ice and try to coax it in the circle by either brushing the ice or not. It's a big sport in Canada isn't it?

That's pretty cool. Do you know more about the sport? ie why they mop in front of it?

also, the stones are expensive. The are made from granite that is unique to Scotland, and they weigh like 40 or 50 pounds. I used to have friends in Nova Scotia and they belonged to a curling club. It's a cool drinking game up there, like darts.

That's great. I never knew it was such a drinking game.
