2007 EL Recap

Hello,

I was wondering what some of you guys thought about the Limitadas this year? I have tried everything but the new Trinidad (my box is on the way). I personally think that this years offerings were a little disappointing.

Hoyo de Monterrey - good off the lighting, but developed into nothing. No particular outstanding characteristics

Romeo y Julieta - Perfect size, great off the light, good spices, then it got muddied.

I will admit that I think the best EL from Hoyo was the piramide, and from the RYJ the Hermoso #1. Maybe I am judging too high, however, what are others' thoughts.

I have not had any and prefer the regular line for the price alone; this is true for all tobacco origins for me.

Banger, sometimes you can find great pricing in the EL's. Also I finally had my Trinidad and it was absolutely incredible I will need to smoke a few more, but I will leave a tasting shortly. I think that the Trinidad redeemed 07. To a greater extent, query, why Cuba is shooting all of these large gauge rich cigars lately, but I personally enjoy the deluge of heavy rich cuban tobaccos.
