2013 US Open

I think the course is going to play tough like a US Open should. The USGA had to grow the rough out due to the lack of length we normally see with a US Open course. We can resume the birdies next week, lets see some even par rounds this week!

Well done by Justin Rose, good to see him win his first Major. Phil had a chance and gets his 6th 2nd place finish in a US Open.

Golf is such a fun sport. But it is funny how when you are young you want nothing to do with golf never mind watching it on TV. Lol. Now I find myself watching golf often. I wish I could get out and play as often as I watch though.

I only got to watch on Saturday, but loved every minute of it. I started watching golf to take a nap on Sunday afternoons. Now, I find it too compelling to sleep. Even on Saturday.

I didn't think it was a disappointment at all. I liked the fact that a course considered "too short" to host a US Open had no one under par at the end of the week.

^ agreed. It was a fantastic week of golf with a lot of great play and many amazing stories... I loved that not one single player was under par as well- what a test Merion turned out to be...While it was disappointing that Phil didn't take it home, he has come in second place a staggering 6 times- which is an enormous feat in and of itself...Not to get grouchy, but pretty sure Phil was the bride at 3 Masters and 1 PGA We love you Phil.
