I'd love to get to the CT barn smoker this year. Seems like my friends are dragging their feet on attending. Or just don't like me LOL. Nice ferry ride across the LI Sound and a few hours in the car smoking some nice cigars could make a really long day or even extend to an overnight trip. Sigh. I need new friends LOL.

If CT is anything like the others I've been to you can go by yourself, pull up to a table and almost instantly have a bunch of people to talk to. With all the liquor being sampled, the cigars and the food you have to try to not have a good time.

As an old fart the only issues I've ever had was they play some real weird music, really loud and in Florida one year it rained like hell and people where getting stuck in the field where we parked.

Looks like Florida is already sold out. Anybody thinking of going to the Louisiana Barn Smoke?. I'm a bit more excited about the cigars they will have this year.

That's good to know! I was curious if it would've been better to do an overnight trip or day trip. I'm in between the Bridgeport and Orient ferries so either one can work for me.
