Well, 2011 is quickly ending and 2012 is approaching. I have made some important changes in 2011, as well as made some mistakes. As far as I am concerned, 2011 can keep all the bad stuff and start new in 2012.

Having said that, what are you New Years Resolutions for 2012 that you will actually try to keep. I make resolutions that are sacrificng, as well as somewhat easy to keep.

I have a few.

1. No more Monster Energy drinks. I have at least 1 a day and at times, 2. Not good health wise and contain way too much salt. They don't even work for me anymore, but do give me caffiene I need. I'll drink two cups of coffee instead.

2. Not allow any form of negativity into my life. No more joining in on Shit talking, talking poorly about someone and I will treati people as I want to be treated. With Respect, honesty, compassion and loyalty.

3. More diligently work on my friendships instead of taking them for granted.

4. Play better golf. lol Yeah, i know it seems stupid, but working harder at playing better is a commitment.

May 2012 bring each of you and your families new found happiness, respect and closer to one another.

I plan to start back walking every day. I was up to 3 miles a day at one point and I have let that slip by the wayside. I get almost no exercise with my work so I need to get back in shape.

Secondly, lose weight. Too many great beers and rich foods this year. Time to start eating an drinking a little less.

Third, I want to marry my lovely fiancé this year somehow so we can be together all the time.

Short list for me but I hope to make it work.

I don't normally make resolutions but I will make a serious effort to ignore people that act like dumbasses. Otherwise they just make my blood pressure go up and I don't need that.

Spend more time with my family. I am at the point of my work career where I have the opportunity to take my foot off the metal and smell the roses.

Stay connected with friends and make new friends.

Need to quite smoking cigarettes.

continue to stick to 4 brands: RA, Montecristo, Cohiba and Trinidad

buy more Trinidad cigars seeing that they are discontinuing the robusto Ts.

I started early

No more soda. Been soda free for 2 to 3 weeks now. I drank about 2000 calories or more a day in soda.

Eating healthier in general.

More exercise of course. I want to do more biking and hiking.

As I do every year I commit to smoke more cigars. I get buys and travel a lot and sometimes I just need to slow down and take an hour for myself to relax and enjoy more cigars.

maverickdrinker, my name is Jake and I wanna be your new friend.

Great ideas guys.
I plan to spend more time with family. I want to sneak away & enjoy a cigar with my hubby after kids in bed at least 1ce a week. :cbig:
I also want to lose weight. 20 lbs would get me down 2 pre-marital size but lets be realistic... 10 would make me happy.
Try at least 1 new cigar per week (I have a bad habit of stickin to staples)
Get out of the house with just the 2 of us at least 1ce a month.:inlove:
Spend the next 36 hrs thinking of more. :dunno:

Don't really make resolutions. If there's stuff I need to change, I work on it immediately... I can't afford to wait around to New Years.

I will however continue getting into better shape (running and lifting) and working myself back to 100% mental/emotional state.
