2nd week of deercamp

tomarrow is opening day of the 9 day wisconsin deer hunting rifle season. im all psyched up. seen some nice bucks on our land this summer and fall so hopefully ill get lucky!!

any other deer hunters out there and if so, when does your big season start??

Done with the first Eastern Plains season. We had 4 tags, 2 bucks and 2 does. Filled all 4 the first day...1 Whitetail buck, 2 whitetail does, and 1 Muley buck. The does and Muley buck were taken by my cousins kids, ages 15, 12, and 11.
My son has a tag for the late season......Dec. 14th start.

Nope. Last time I went out in CA there wee far more hunters and guns than deer. I'm in a lottery for an Elk tag up in Wyoming for next year though a group. I hope to get back into Michigan but won't hunt CA.

well, i got some meet in the freezer now. a nice size doe. seen some pretty decent bucks on opening day, but wasnt allowed to shot them. i hunt in an area that requires you to "earn a buck" by shooting a doe first. oh well, theres still 5 days left of the rifle season and then theres a muzzleloadig season after that.

I used to hunt deer...when I was a kid.

I dont know.. I am to intense i guess or unpatient... I am sure I would love the rush or feel of success when I shot a deer but I dont know if I can sit there and wait until that happens, I guess...
