Seriously thinking of adding this to my toy collection. I especially like the aspect that you can just build/purchase the upper and mate it with your AR lower. The fact that Remington, etc. makes factory rounds for this caliber and are readily available is a big plus for me. Performance of this caliber is great with an advantage over an AK. The part that seals the deal for me is the ability to shoot subsonic and I believe use a 9mm or 45 can. I just need to get a 9 inch upper and it would be perfect!

Wondering if you've had any experience with this caliber?

You need a .308 can for it.

Very cool round, especially for a suppressed round. However, there is no real performance advantage over 5.56 and is much more expensive. Don't get me wrong, I want a 9 inch upper as well in it. But, the fact that the lead instructors in the country aren't switching to it right now is a pretty good indicator. For the cool factor, I say jump on it. But if you're looking for a weapon to put some serious training time behind... just stick with 5.56.
