3) When did you sign up on them? (In other words did you sign there or here first??
4) Where do you most actively post? (In other words do you post here or there more?)

With the whole scumbag warning it got me thinking of the people I've seen at other boards. Just curious where you all are at as well.

This is the only board I post on.........sheer laziness on my part, but I enjoy the posts and the information I get here enough that I don't care to go to another.

At first it was only cigar weekly. Then people were getting censored and people started flaming etc.... That was when I found you guys.

Since then, this is the go-to forum then CW, then VCC.

Mostly interested in info on ISOM as well as the conversations off cigars that BTOLs like to have opinions on.

I mostly lurk but every once in a while I have the urge to post. I check the site every 2-3 days. Note enough time to check much more often.

CigarWeekly was my intro into cigar boards as I think you'll find with a large percentage of folks around here. I belong to 4 or 5 others but this is by far my most active board. VCC I try to visit on occasion, but I've just found myself not visiting much for some reason. Cigar Wise...I almost never visit anymore, though I will try to stop by now and then as there can be some good info over there. CigarWeekly, again, hardly visit anymore. Used to be over there all the time for the politics board but I don't have the time to keep up with those crazy folks anymore. Overall, CW's just too big for me anymore I think.

1) What other cigar boards are you signed up on? - Cigar Weekly, Vintage Cigar Club, Friends of Habanos, Cigar Wise, Cigar Pass, Cigar Chat, Cigarsmokers, Club Stogie, Cigar Syndicate, Cigar Family, Cigar Afficianado, Cigar Snobs, I think that's it. :crosseyed I went nuts when I found my first board...I had to learn!

2) Why the other boards? When I really got into cigars in October 2004 I signed up at every board I could find to try and get as much information as possible. Over time I have let most of them fade into an after thought when perusing the boards.

3) When did you sign up on them? The first board I found was Ca in 10/04. That same day I signed up on Cigar Family. About a week later I found Cigar Pass, Cigar Weekly and Cigar Wise. I signed up here about two days after it started.

4) Where do you most actively post? I think that's obvious. I post daily at VCC and Cigar Weekly. I haven't posted much at Club Stogie, Cigar Chat, Cigar Syndicate, Cigar Wise, Ca, Cigar Snobs, or Cigar Family. I was posting pretty steadily at Cigar Pass in the beginning but I eventually realized the tone of the board wasn't to my liking and now I refuse to sign back in...ever.

are the ones I post most frequently to, joined Weekly almost 4 years ago, Wise almost 3, same with HP.

Weekly was recommended during the last 6 months of the JRBB which was my original cigar board, the others were recommended as was BOTL by members of those boards.

Most active on Weekly and Wise, with HP coming, based solely on activity at those boards.

Also on, in order of involvement: Club Stogie, Syndicate, Smokers, Wise, Snobs, Weekly, Vintage Cigar Club, Pass, Cigar Family, and CA.

Every board has its own personality and has different things to contribute.

I post most often on Club Stogie--it was the first board I found this time around (I was on CA years ago, grew disillusioned, and didn't bother to check boards for five or six years).

Cigarweekly only, it's all I feel I need and have time for.

2) Why the other boards? Really why not? So much information and been around a lot longer. Can do searches for information and get answers vs posting a question and waiting for the same or similar results.

3) When did you sign up on them? (In other words did you sign there or here first?? Here first, them right after.

4) Where do you most actively post? (In other words do you post here or there more?) Almost totally here. This site is much smaller and get a feel your a part of the site. More freindly folks here too. Cigarweekly seems so large, get lost in the crowd. I feel disconnected there.

I'm a member of BOTL, VCC, Club Stogie, CigarFamily, Cigarweekly. I mainly lurk at Cigarwise and Cigar Syndicate.

2) Why the other boards?
Because each board offers a wealth of knowledge on cuban cigars. There are lots of informative guys on those boards.

3) When did you sign up on them? (In other words did you sign there or here first??
I signed up at CigarPass first and then at CigarWeekly. With BOTL and the rest later.

4) Where do you most actively post? (In other words do you post here or there more?)
I mostly post here with a couple posts at VCC/C-Weekly/Club Stogie per day.

-CF was the first board to join, mainly because of my love for the fuentes. I joined up with BOTL because it is pretty layed back! I liked the topics about cigars that were posted so I decided to jump in!
-signed up about two years ago
-I post evenly between BOTL and CF. Sometimes a bit more with cf because I have been there longer.

I've joined many cigar boards over the years - ASC, BOTL, CigarFamily, CigarPass, CigarWeekly, CigarWise, ClubStogie, HerfersParadise, StogieChat, VCC and a couple private boards.

The only ones I visit regularly are BOTL, CigarFamily, CigarWeekly, ClubStogie and VCC. I visit other boards because they each have some uniqueness to them that draws me back.

The first board I joined was CigarFamily in 1997 ... CigarWeekly in 2000 ... and I was part of the first group here at BOTL in 2004.

Currently I post more here than anywhere else.

First was CBids forum. I didn't like it. The others came and went until BOTL became my main forum

In order, CBid-FoH-CP-BOTL-VCC

4) Where do you most actively post? (In other words do you post here or there more?)
BOTL is the only one I post on a regular basis. CP I hit every now and then because I still have some business there, and that's it.

2) A friend said was good board for HTF's and quality sticks since I'm trying to expand/diversify collection. A lot of Fuente stuff there he said I would like.

1. I'm also a member of cigarpass.com and registered on CA years ago when I first started smoking cigars.

2. Had to find my niche...didn't like CA AT ALL and eventually got out of cigars altogether. Came back into them and the trade with Rob sent me back into the hobby. That was on Cigar Pass...found out very quickly I didn't like that board at all either.

3. I signed up on CA probably back in 2000 or 2001. CP was just a month before here.

4. I most actively post by far here. I lurk at a few other boards, but rarely. I hate the attitude of most other boards so I just lurk around for a quick answer or some cigar porn pics then pop out. Any longer and I might become disillusioned by the general attitude of most people on cigar boards. BOTL is now my main and only board I post at. I consider you all friends.
