I'll introduce myself by writing a review of the 5 Vegas Gold Robusto.

It was a gorgeous day in mid-Missouri and I celebrated it by lounging in the sun with the Oliver Sacks book, Musicophilia, and a cigar. Great book by the way; all of his works are great!

This cigar is a very pretty cigar. The bronze-colored Connecticut wrapper was flawless and uniformly, firmly encased the Honduran / Nicaraguan filler. The draw was very nice and produced a mildly spicy / sweet taste.

The beginning was quite nice. This is definitely a mild cigar; however, it is very smooth and has a pleasing taste. Mildly spicy with some hint at a Brazil but flavor.

The middle was quite uninspiring. My taste buds needed something more to get them going again and the middle didn't provide this. Hence, the flavor seemed bland and lifeless. Plus, I was distracted by the fact that the middle burned poorly.

The finish brought redemption. It was as if the stick knew I was ready to disregard it completely. There was almost instantaneous buttery oak flavor that encompassed both my taste and olfactory senses. This was the best part by far!

Overall, this is a cigar that I will remember for inexperienced guests as it was very very smooth and the buttery finish was an unexpected and pleasant treat.
