550 Cord for Troops?

I know several members have served or are currently serving so hoping you can answer a question i have. I'm getting together a couple things for jonesry09's troop bomb ISO stuff for troops. I have couple hanks of mil-spec 550 cord lying around and was wondering if it's something the troops need? I figure that 550 cord is something they have plenty of but you can never assume. Was thinking of breaking it down into 10' hanks? is that enough? too much? Thanks for help.

From my experience we always had plenty around and supply always had more in inventory.

Its been a few days since I quit wearing a green suit.... but 550 was something we were never in short supply of.... we had spools and spools of it in the supply room..
