$5. - $9.
5.5" x 56
Wrapper: Habano Maduro
Origin: Nicaragua

Prelight: Earth, ammonia

1st 1/3
Mild pepper, cocoa, some sweetness and leather mixed together and BBQ and spice.

Going sweeter and creamer with the leather, spice and cocoa notes pronounced after about 10 min, burn slightly wonky

Got to slow down on this girl or may make her go bitter, she's so good.

2nd 1/3
Earthy sweetness, cocoa creaminess, pepper, leather and spice building.

Natural sweetness of the Habano Maduro wrapper keeps the stick sweet to the lips.

That BBQ note continues in the background, burn still off
Turning to it's full strength status now with a slight head buzz coming on

Final 1/3
Mostly pepper and spice, with a bit of earth, cocoa/coffee sweetness.
Burn finally self corrected, stayed cool all the way down.

I definitely wouldn’t pay retail price for this stick but can be had for $4 if you search for it on a budget.
A cigar that compares to it would be the Ramon Bueso Genesis The Project that I would buy a box of before the 601 Blue

Smoke time: 1 hr
Score 7.5 out of 10

I used to love the Blues, but ran out of my aged ones and have yet to try a post-Ortega era version. I have a 5er though, so we'll see!
