This afternoon, I tried a Punch Signature Robusto for the first time.

Even though it is labeled as being a FULL profile, I had little to no pepper-taste to it.
Is this normal???

it's time you learned that the sellers' description of strength will never be what you find.
truth in advertising cannot be enforced.
would you buy a stick described as "kinda weak and a bit sour, with a dirty dish towel finish"?
also, pepper is a recent innovation in cigars, it used to indicate incompletely fermented tobacco.
now it's all the rage.

I really am not a fan of this pepper taste.

Full body doesn't mean pepper. Full means body weight, how much flavor or intensity of flavors. Pepper is just a flavor like cinnamon or coffee or chocolate. Pepper does seem to be more common in full body cigars I believe because of how the tobacco is selected and aged.

Smoke a mild cigar in the morning before breakfast and the next day smoke a full bodied cigar the same way. You'll quickly learn the difference.

I've never tried a Punch Signature but I do like the Punch Rare Corojo. I find it has a discernible pepper signature.
