  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Hey gents, my wife who is stationed in Korea right now has picked up on smoking a pipe. I got her smoking cigars years ago. Strangely she still loves those Havana Honeys, lol.

Either way, I've sent her small bits of Davidoff tobacco and she's found stuff in Korea but so far there's been nothing to write home about... Literally.

I'm barely picking up a pipe myself so I don't even know what to try myself yet alone suggest to her.

Thoughts? Suggestions? Recommendations?

You can always get in on the pipe newbie trade. And what I did was browse the forum here and basically trial and error. The frog Morton blends, I know a lot of the brothers here enjoy them. Or maybe getting some 1 oz blends from Pipes & cigars under the bulk section of the respected company if it's available.

Okay, so I'm going to be sending her some of the CAO selection but I'm not sure I could deny the humor of my wife's mailbox in Osan getting bombed silly.

I just don't think It would be kosher to post her address though, so I'll just post a picture my kid drew on the back of an envelope.

Ok, here's the poop, my wife took the box to the PO, since it weighed over a pound (I filled it) she had to fill out a form asking what was in the box, she was honest and they refused to ship it since it was baccy, sooooo. If you want to give me your address in a pm, I'll be more than happy to send it to you and maybe you can get it to her, but I am now S.O.L.

That's weird, why would they even care, I've sent tobacco and declared it before. Weird. I'll PM you shortly.
