Some city contractors are installing steel pillars in concrete to stop vehicles from parking on the pavement outside a downtown Sports Bar. They are now in the process of cleaning up at the end of the day and are anxious to go home.

How long before they realize that they will be getting home late?

I saw a neat trick one time.....they sunk a larger-diameter steel pole in the concrete, and then made the pole that sticks up fit down inside the other, larger pole. You could remove the pole if you needed to get through, but to the average joe, you would think the whole thing was in the concrete...maybe they did the same thing here? or not...

Well, people seem to think that the van can't get out, but it obviously can between the bottom two posts. But if you initially tell people that the van can't fit, they will believe you.

Actually, if you measure it, the van can fit between the 2 bottom posts.

Because of the look angle it appears that it would but it would be very close.
