  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

This is my first review, so hopefully I will not embarrass my self too much.
While I cannot be as detailed in this review as I hope to be able to some day, I can say that this is an awesome cigar for the price. The cigar lit well and burned evenly until the last 1". The draw was nice and smooth, not to tight or too loose, just right for my taste. You can definitely taste the a citrus type of flavor in the first 1/3. The second 1/3 is has a much stronger, more flavorful taste than the first, this was my favorite part of this cigar. The ash was pretty impressive for a cigar this size, it grew longer than 1" several times before falling. In the last third, the cigar gets even a bit more flavorful, but a little ways in, it starts to get too warm and becomes a bit bitter. It taste good up until it was almost too short to smoke anyway. It lasted nearly an hour which was perfect as the weather started to turn as I finished the cigar. You can pick up 10 of these cigars for around $13, a fair price if I do say so myself. The cigar left a rich after taste that I am still enjoying as I write this. After smoking some higher quality cigars, I can tell that this is a high quality tobacco. I would definitely recommend this cigar to someone who doesn't mind a good, mild, flavored cigar. I enjoyed it until the very end, and I hope that you will too.

I agree that Acid is a well constructed cigar, the flavored aspect is a little too much for me. Otherwise, nice review.

Nice review. The Acid line is a little off the wall with a wide range of cigars. Not one of my favorites but I will smoke one every blue moon. Variety is the spice...

I am kind of anti-infused cigars but I would be willing to try one. What size did you smoke and what other flavors seemed to be represented? I know this can be relative but I'm just curious.

It's size 4x32. It's a pretty mild smoke. Like i said in my review you can definitely taste a hint of citrus. Other than that, I don't really feel experienced enough to point out any other subtleties. I hope to be able to do that soon enough :p. You can pick up a single for less than $2 or an entire tin (10 cigars) for around $13.

Wow, I let one of these sit in the humi for about 3 mos. and it was the best acid I've had yet. As my tastes have grown, I have to agree that infused cigars aren't the greatest, but they are nice on occasion. I really enjoy my Olar Del Cibao cuban see churchills though. I will be writing a review on that cigar soon. :)

I think this cigar is from the "Krush" series, is that correct? I bought a sampler of these a while back. They are nice little cigars and a welcome change of pace. Thanks for the review :).

not big on flavored cigars to be honest. But, every now and then I have one. I received a bundle yesterday of Olar Del Cibao Cuban Seed cigars from texcigars.com and I also ordered the cigarsinternational.com weekly special that was Don Diego Napa Estates. I will write a review on these if I feel the I can. Thanks again for the feedback.
