Hello everyone,

I'm still a bit of a noob when it comes to choosing cigars. Currently I enjoy the 5 Vegas Classic as my go to but I also enjoy the Sherpa. If I'm going to spend the money I really like the Monticristo but at $12 - $25 that's save for special occasions.

What would everyone recomend?

Try everything ye can get. Buy either singles or fivers at the most. This way ye'll get an idea of what ye like and don't.

Gispert, 5 Vegas A, Indian Tabac NonPariel, DonTomas Cameroon #1 Perfecto basiclly because it's a great inexpensive smoke. oh yeah and have fun figuring out what you like. I started out a year ago thinking the fatter and darker the cigar the better. I now really like a natural or Cammeroon wrapper on a lancero or PC. Crazy how Things change in a year.

All of the New Havana Cigars house brand cigars are great. They aren't cheap (around $6) but you can get them in 5 packs and are an excellent value.

Sounds like you are into the mild side of cigars right now--see if you can find some samplers labeled "mild" and go from there.

I'd suggest looking at what Holt's and Famous Smoke offer; I tend to find they have higher quality samplers (although maybe less selections) than CI.

If/when you develop a taste for the bolder and stronger stuff, definitely check out New Havana.

Oh, and avoid the "Devil Site" at all costs...your pocketbook will thank you!

If you are looking for cheap Dominicans, Nicaraguans, or Honduran cigars I would look for Montesino, Padron, or even La Aurora.

Try a Fonseca Cosaco's. They are pretty light/medium flavored.

Well that's easy. They're a decent price. Just because I can get Cubans doesn't make them cheap. Not only that I've had more non-Cuban that are soomther and tastier then Cuban.

They're not always what they're craked up to be.
