  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Thanks for the advice guys. I have it in an air-tight tupperware for now. I got one (Missouri Meerschaum - Missori Pride) recently from a sampler that I was worried about. The pouch itself doesn't have a seal, it was just folded over a couple times. Is it fine if I leave that in the tupperware? Or should I move it to a mason jar?

Sorry if these questions seem redundant!
It depends on how quick you smoke it. I've left blends in a ziplock until I finished. If the ziplock looks compromised, change it. The material itself is porous, but air exchange is slow.

For long term storage I use canning jars. I buy a flat of half pint jars and use them from the flat. Each jar holds roughly 2oz each. When I am finished with a jar I clean it well and sanitize it before reuse. I don't reuse lids.
