Air purifier - use one for indoor smoking?

We have an office with an internal door that can be sealed off from the rest of the house, but no way the significant other would let me smoke indoors without an effective air purifier of some sort.

Any of you use something like this and do you have a recommendation for one that you think works well?

I think you are better off with venting the air than trying to scrub it, the cost of filters would get stupid in a short bit of time. I've got several air purifiers in the house, but not even my best can keep up with a couple cigars going.

Yup, you need to exhaust that smoke, not purify it.

My wife bought me one of those super deluxe sharper image purifiers. After cleaning the tar off the blades twice, I put in an exhaust.

LOL....did the same thing!!!

I find that opening the garage door is a much nicer option!

Actualy the celing vent fixtures for bathrooms are not that hard to install and some are quiet.

Yea the model up that I was going to get was so quiet I had to keep checking to see it was on or off.
