I've said this before - but this is just a reminder. I'll be breaking BOTL over time in order to get it into a far better place. Just be patient if you can't reach us! We'll be back
Constant exposure to ozone is bad for your lung tissue. I would stick with traditional charcoal filtration like the models above (mine works awesome). The filter cartridges can be expensive, but they don't emit any noxious gas.

I've been thinking about filter units for some time. I only smoke outdoors now so my winters are very long. I usually break it up with a vacation to Cuba. Not only are their cifars great, but you can smoke in all the bars which you can't do here.
I have often read that the filter units don't work well, and considering the power of cigar smoke, I tend to believe it. I feel that the only effective system would be an exhaust fan. Not only does it remove the smoke but it also keeps your room under negative pressure so that it is impossible for any smelly air to escape into the rest of the house. The big down side is that in clod climates you are exhausting warm air and that can be expensive. It guess the way to look at it is what is the cost of exhausting the heated air vs. the cost of a real fancy filter system (which I still think wouldn't work well in a house).
If you are still in the process of walling up the room, I would suggest the following.
Exhaust fan with a timer switch
Fresh Air inlet with a timer switch
Ozone generator to be run on a timer for a couple of hours or more based on it's size. To be turned on after you leave the room. Remember to leave the Fresh air inlet run for about an hour while the ozone generator is running.
I prefer these units because they don't require removing the plates for cleaning like the others do. I have the XT-800, but do not smoke in the house, use it for the garage. I leave the unit on over night and it works great. https://www.air-zone.com/store/products/
This picture reminds me of when, as a kid, we tried to introduce the family dog to having a kitten in the house. Didn't go over too well. LOL. I had to do a running tackle to stop my Samoyed.
