I didn't even know they still made Rainier. I always thought it was killed off when they shut down the Rainier brewery back in the 90's.

Our bar back in Santa Barbara used to keep PBR on hand for 1$ a can. And would only sell it to our small group of regulars. They new we only bought it when we were nearing broke. For me, when its hot and you just want to slug down many beers, PBR is great! Plus I like the cans!

Sources tell me SABMiller is seriously considering closing the brewery. It does not fit their demographic and market.
