Also, never declare your cigars through customs of any country as they are your personal property and you have no intent to sell.
Not sure that's a great recommendation there. Someone can get in more heat NOT declaring something when they should... going into another country. Sure it's personal property, but you are still required to declare them. Up to you if you will or not, but you are still required to declare tobacco in most countries.

I'm with Aloha on the declaring the cigars. You don't declare them, they could get taken away if found.

I agree with sofc and Aloha - if you declare them and they get confiscated, the worst thing will be that you lost your sticks. If you don't declare them and customs finds them, you'll still lose you cigars AND you could face prosecution. Even if you're just given a fine, it will be an uncomfortable experience.
