Just finished it and I loved it. I knew SEALs were bad ass, but I really had no idea they were THAT bad ass! Also learned ALOT about the war in Iraq. Highly recommend it.

Every time I have to go to school for the Army, I end up at Little Creek NAB, where there are four SEAL teams permanently stationed. They do their physical training every morning at the same place I do. Yep, these guys are bad asses!

Downloaded and read half the book last night. Very good so far. When I went through the Police Academy one of my instructors was a Navy SEAL and was still a SEAL in some kind of reserve capacity. I know he was activated when Afghanistan and Iraq kicked off again. Anyways, this guy was an amazing instructor but he put us through hell during physical training. We did some crazy and tough stuff like running with picnic tables in the sand with the slowest runner laying on top of it. Yes, one time the guy on top was me. Running in sand sucks! These guys are amazing and I have much respect for them.

You should also read Roberts Ridge and Lone Survivor they are both really good reads about events in Afghanistan. One is of Rangers and the other is of a Seal team.

Thanks for the recommendations. I really enjoy books like these. Sometimes it kind of pisses you off though seeing how often our soldiers hands are tied or how red tape and idiots in an office make decisions that make their jobs even tougher.
