Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Sorry you took it that way, Ted. I am not quite sure what ticked you off? I will try to clarify since I was not "slamming" anyone.tedski said:Cliff ... I know I wasn't being slammed personally ... I was just commenting on a general attitude that I've seen among many cigar smokers. The lines above from the original post are the ones that sort of ticked me off ...
mixing otc cold medicine?:rofl:tedski said:I understand Fox ... I know you posted with no intentional slight toward anyone. In fact, you did post that you recognize your own growing arrogance.
I don't normally flare up like this and do apologize if I offended anyone. But I guess a bad night's sleep and prolonged recovery from the flu will take it's toll.
Take it out on the surfing Ted! :guitar:  :halfgrinwtedski said:I understand Fox ... I know you posted with no intentional slight toward anyone. In fact, you did post that you recognize your own growing arrogance.

This really hits at the heart of my term "novice". I have given a CC or two to some relatively experienced smokers, only to watch them turn green and complain that the smokes were too strong! :cryloud:sb1396 said:That's the ticket.
I still smoke an occasional NC and do enjoy them on that rare occasion but I do know people who prefer mild cigars and stay away from Habanos because the ones they have smoked were too strong. There are some fine cigars made outside Cuba. It's all about personal preference.
