We have a winner! It was Lost Dutchman park at the foot of the Superstition mountain. The picture was taken the day we left that area after being there a year.

3 hours of searching google over and over and over...I thought my brain was going to explode But I have learned more about our national parks and mountains within the US in those 3 hours than I ever knew! Thanks for the geography lesson
