Not here. While it has always interested me I think you need a picturesque mountain backdrop in order to catch fish. We don't have those here in PA like they do out west.

Well I know there is I'm from Berwick which has mountains all around. They're more like hills compared to the mountains out west though. Usually the snow on our mountain tops melts along with everything else, but out there, aaa behold the site of snow capped peaks. I do like PA though. I just hope I can convince the wife to stay here once we finally get a house.

Nope, but I do love to fish. I did watch a guy catch redfish on a fly rod one day and it looked to be fun.

FLY FISHING IS EASY!!! It may look intimidating but after perhaps 20 minutes with an appropriately set up rod & reel, you'll get the feel for it. Just remember it's all forearm and no wrist. Stay between 10 & 2 and you'll have beautiful casts in notime! Easiest way to catch fish when no one else is doing so.

i don't fly fish. I just never tried it. I hope to one day since I love to fish! There is just something serene about hiking up & down a big river all day. And the fun of fighting that big one! Oh yeah!

I love flyfishing!!!! I go up to the sierras for 2 weeks every year just to flyfish.. And its half the reason I'm moving up there this summer!! The other reason is to snowboard during the winter... What do you boys think about a mammoth camping herf next August?...

i'm up for that! each year, a group of us go to Bishop for the weekend and fish the streams. not flyfishing though...
