Any idea what these markings are?

The two pink stripes, any idea? I got this cigar in a trade or something like that and it was a bit low quality for me. Decided to dissect it and found this under the wrapper. I'm assuming its a place keeping mark for the roller, not worried about it being dangerous or harmful, just curious

I am intrigued as well.
I like the idea that it's a guideline for th roller, but you'd think after rolling literally thousands of cigars, would such a line be necessary?

To me it looks like some of the pigmentation from the string wore off considering that is either a binder or filler....( used to hang it in the curing barns) Fwiw.
