Here's the story on my wife. She was sent down to Anchorage to have some kidney stones removed. She's been dealing with some killer ones pretty much since she got pregnant. But, being pregnant limits what the treatment options are. Finally, since she was in the 3rd trimester, one of her OBs arranged to have her sent down there for removal. However, she had some complications and started contracting. She was only 32 weeks pregnant and we really didn't want to have a preemie, especially 350 miles from home. They got her settled down and we're back home. 34 weeks was yesterday and if we can get her to 36, we'd be able to have the baby here in town. She's on psuedo-bedrest. They're keeping an eye on her week by week in hopes of getting 14-21 more days out her so we can have a (nearly) full term baby.

You guys are in our prayers. Help her do as little as possible or just act like us guys on the weekend. Just lay there, watch tv and ask for food and drink.
