Just a quick recap of Apple's WWDC for 2018:

iOS12 (Coming this Fall)
  • FaceTime with up to 32 people at once. Might be interesting to try a vHerf sometime with this one.
  • Last year they released Animoji's and this year they took it a step further with Memoji of yourself. You can also use Filters/Stickers/Animojis/Memoji's live on FaceTime.
  • Augmented Reality (AR) now supports 2+ AR tracks at the same time. For example, you can play games against other people using AR and everyone sees the same thing regardless of the angle.
  • You will now see reports on your daily/weekly use of your screens. You will now be able to see how much time you spend on the phone/iPad or even more specifically, on apps. You can also set these reports up on your kids' phones, as well.
  • You now have more control over your notifications. As in, your notification screen will bucketize like notifications so you don't have a full screen of notifications. Also, you can control which apps notify you and when they can notify you.
  • Some new enhancements to photo sharing via the Photos app.
  • Create Siri shortcuts using a new app called "Shortcuts". This allows you to set up 2 or more actions to happen across any of your apps and activate them by saying a user-generated phrase to Siri.

macOS Mojave (Coming this Fall)
  • A new Dark Mode. Pretty sexy looking.
  • Bucketize all of your desktop icons with two easy clicks.
  • A new "Quick Actions" pane in certain views that enables you to do common tasks quickly.
  • Utilizing continuity, you can take a pic with your iPhone and it will appear on your Mac instantly for use.
  • FaceTime with up to 32 people at once.
  • Adding iOS apps to the macOS (HomeKit, News, Stocks, Voice Memos and many more to come)
  • Completely redesigned App Store

WatchOS 5 (Coming this Fall)
  • A new Walkie Talkie feature to communicate quickly with other Apple Watch users.
  • New competitions for activity challenges.
  • Apple Watch will notice you working out even if you forgot to start a workout. When you confirm that you are working out, it will add the data that it recorded from when you physically started. Same for ending.
  • Apple Podcasts are now on the Watch.
  • Siri now integrates with more 3rd party apps.
  • Siri on the Watch can utilize Siri Shortcuts

tvOS (Coming this Fall)
  • Now had Dolby Atmos
  • "Zero Sign On" removes the frustrations of having to sign into each app with your TV Provider. Now, utilizing your WiFi network and your TV provider, it will automatically sign in if all requirements are met.

I'm looking forward to the Walkie-Talkie functionality on watchOS. I'm going to ping @bostoneo 24/7.

Also, I think the dual+ AR is intriguing! The demo that they showed with Lego and then with an obstacle course during the presentation was pretty sweet. Tons of possibilities with that one.
