Hey guys,

I'd like to start off by saying thank you for the contest it is pretty sweet and the idea of us doing a review on them is even better. So with further a do...

The prelight:
This stick has a bransy scent to it. With a nice light brown wrapper to it. She has been sitting in my humi for 2 weeks as she travelled great distances to get to me. The RH is at 66 and temp at 21. The stick was firm to the squeeze test and the pre draw a little on the hard side. The wrapper was not oily but a rather dry feel and there was a little bit of curling on the foot of the cigar.

First light:
The first few draws were really tough and hard to draw back on. But what I did get from it was most definitely a big dose of black better and barn. A pleasant amount of smoke was coming from the cigar itself and the exhale had a fair amount also even with the tight draw.

First Third:
The black better died off fairly quickly and opened up to a grassy, nutty, barn flavour and scent. Not bad the flavours seemed to balance together fairly well. Nothing really jumped out or wowed on the cigar in the first third but definitely was a light-medium strength cigar.

Second Third:
The barn flavour continued along with the grassiness. The nutty (dry almond) flavour disappeared. The smoke definitely continued to flow very freely from this stick and the complexity stayed to a minimum with just a farm like feel. (Which is not a bad thing it had a very light fresh feeling to it.) the ash did in fact hold on for pretty damn close to 2 inches which was impressive.

Home Stretch:
The cigar continued with its grassy barn flavour (still reminds me of a farm). No complexity nothing just a pleasant mild cigar. Had a little bit of a burn issue it was canoeing down one side but a quick touch up definitely corrected it and got her back on track. Cigar never felt like it burnt hot. Was not over or under humidified. A solid mild stick from start to end.

Conclusion:
Definitely a stick I would place in the category of yard gar as it is constant And doesn't seem like it will be effected by grass being cut. I think with some rest she will maybe come out with some hidden flavours but mainly seems to be a fine mellow cigar with the constant flavour.

Conditions:
The day today is about 24 degrees rather low humidity and very little to know mind so the cigar smoke sat in the air which is nice to bask in.

Drink:
A nice tall glass of water as I didn't know the profile of the cigar but would go nice with a light flavoured juice or a very mild scotch. Something very smooth and soft that wouldn't over power the cigar.

Thanks for reading up on this guys and I hope you enjoyed one of the very few reviews I've ever done.

Cheers,
JM
