Don't discount the White Owl or confuse it with what that brand has become. Prior to the embargo in 1962 there were hundreds of factories in the US filled with skilled rollers that rolled cuban tobaco into hand made cigars. These Clear Havana or Bonded Havana cigars have nothing to do with the mostly machine made cigars of today made from poor quality leaf or even clippings from other factories. That White Owl is cuban tobacco over fifty years old and covered in plume.

tried the dry slitz (sounds like a bad porn movie). had an almost floral flavor to it in the first half. still amazing when you figure how old it is.

You know every time I see a white owl in the store I shake my head and wonder who'd smoke those but from what I've read the clear havana's are awesome!! enjoy your smokes bro!
