  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

All depends on what you consider a good price. I won't pay any more than MSRP, which is around $8 or $9 a stick. That's what Holt's sells 'em for (when they have 'em in stock). If you really want them and can't get them elsewhere at a better price, then I guess you might consider cigarplace's price as good.

$18 is SUPER high for that particular vitola. It is a good smoke though. I really don't like that size, it is a double corona size and just takes too long to smoke. IMO.

I will be sampling one of these babies soon. Should I decide they are going to be part of the regular rotation and that they are IMHO, better than Tat's and Ashton VSG's, I will search for them at a lower price point.

You guys do realize that vitolas.net is just a reference for prices. Its NOT set in stone. Those prices do NOT reflect state taxes. If someone could kindly show me where to buy Sharks for $9.25/stick I'll buy out there whole inventory.

I don't know of ANY b&m's that are in the business of selling cigars for less than what they pay for them.

I agree that $18/stick is stupid high...especially for the #49. I have and will continue to pay $16.95/stick (MAX) for Sharks but thats just me.

Holt's sells them at MSRP. Of course, that's when they are in stock (maybe a couple of times a year), and sales are limited to in-store purchases with a two stick per customer per day limit. Also, if you call Tampa Sweethearts (not on line purchases) and make a minimum buy of something like $50, they will sell you some of whatever Fuente limited releases they have on hand at MSRP.

I have to side with Greg on this one. Very rarely do you fine Anejo's for MSRP. I tend to buy most of mine for about $11-13. I would rather pay the extra per stick than have shell out $50 on other crap then but them for MSRP. Not much of a deal doing it that way. Plus I think Tampa's deal is more the $100 in order to get their good stuff, and then they limit you on how much you can buy.

I just got the availability list from Tampa Sweethearts, and they say you only need to buy $25 worth of regular merchandise to place an order for singles. (I'm very tempted to buy a Stinky Cigar ashtray from them + some singles.)

They currently have #46 and #48 Anejos, most of the Hemingway Maduros and BTL, as well as some Opus X, Ashton VSG, God of Fire, etc . . .
