  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I traded for one, it's still resting... I'm waiting for a time when I can smoke it all at my leisure, but I can't bring myself to buy them at 18.50 a pop here at the B&M
For the price of two of those, I can get a box of Sancho Panza Double Maduro's, which are a standard smoke for me. Possibly the best deal out there. I do buy expensive cigars as singles for special occasions or just to try them; but not all that often any more.

Thanks.

I have one that was gifted to be. I'll smoke it this spring after I open up the kitchen for the year, My last day of relaxation before my season starts. Then the hunt is on for the cigar to close the season out with. Thanks for a great review!!!!

Thanks for the review. I love the VSG's and haven't tried this one yet. Think I'll stay away unless the price is right

Nice review... I think that with all the delays in releasing these cigars, it would be hard for ANY smoke to live up to all the hype.. I thought it was a good smoke, but not worth all of the hooplah surrounding its release, imho.

I sparked up a few when they just came out, and I thought they were a decent smoke- perhaps not worth the $$$ but nonetheless very enjoyable. I lit one up last week and was amazed at how much tastier this one was. I'd say these cigars are going to be amazing in a few years. Too bad you have to pay for them now or you'll never know (or thats what the Ashton rep told me).

I liked the ESG, but for me it was just too full bodied to smoke to the nub. I don't mean it was nic strong, so much as just the body was extremely full. I tried the robusto today and I must say this is more along the lines of a size I can handle in this marka. Any longer and I wouldn't have been able to nub it. I am one of those believers too that these will be unreal in a few years. I will go so far as to predict that these will be some of the most sought after OR's in 10 years or so. I missed the boat on the Churchills, but I'm gonna put a few of the Robo's down.

Nice review BTW.:stretchgr
