Atlanta races

Is anyone going to the races this weekend in Atlanta? I will be in the infield at the end of pit road before turn 1. If you get in this area let me know!

Atlanta is one of the few NASCAR tracks I have been to. And it is first rate. Have fun and root for Tony! :grin:

We went to watch the races at Phoenix several years ago when we were working in Apache Junction for a year. I have been fortunate to have been able to go to many NASCAR events over the years; working at some, partying at others.

Never been to Atlanta.

The few tracks I have seen races at include Rockingham, Darlington, Richmond, Michigan, Bristol, Daytona, and Charlotte.

Planning on Vegas next year for our tenth anniversary and Kansas is a remote possbility this year.

Thought you NASCAR guys might like this. Mark Martin's pit was right in front of where we were parked with the motorhome during last Sunday's race.

While listening to his team on my scanner, on his first pit, his crew chief wanted Mark to pull just a little more forward into his pit box. Mark came back and said he thought he was all the way in but that he would pull up more the next time. He also said "You guys tell me what to do, don't treat me like a rookie" I about fell off the motorhome laughing so hard.
