Yeah that's where I got the quote from. I was just thinking there might be a better deal somewhere.

Anyone order from etronics.com before?

I order that wine refrigerator from Etronics last year. It arrived via DAHL very damaged. DAHL would not allow me to reject delivery. Seemed to be cosmetic so, after discussing with Avant, I tried it out. Even though advertised to cool to between 51-62 degrees, my unit would not go above 52 degrees. Took a fight with Tonics to resolve. They sent me a second unit which arrived even more damaged than the first. Took almost another month to straighten out and get my credit card credited. While all customer service people were friendly, it took well over two months total process.

Both boxes had the bottoms cut out so that the actual unit was exposed. There was no possible way for the refrigerators to have been delivered by a standard carrier without being damaged. Kind of like sending cigars unprotected in an envelope via regular mail.

If you choose to buy from them, please let us know how it turns out. Maybe I'm unlucky and just had their only two bad experiences...

Seems high to me from what I remember. Try these guys www.compactappliance.com. They offer scratch and dent units for under $150 delivered a lot of times on Ebay.com. Just read their fine print. Most time has good accurate description of the damage. Mine has slight damage to to the rear but works great. Another company in CO does the same thing, but seemed higher in price for damaged goods. Good luck bro.

I'm with Matthew. I bought two $500 digital cameras from Etronics a couple of years ago. They got misplaced by UPS during shipping. It took forever to get a refund from Etronics after providing the claim. They simply weren't interested in 'my' problem.

Bottom line.... make sure you never need any type of customer service from them.

As for me, never again at any price.

Good luck Fresh. This company (CA) probably has a lot of damage as well cause of the ones they repair and list on Ebay. PM was replied to also.

Thanks, I just thought that for the price of what will be kept inside I would fork out the extra 50 bucks for a brand new cooler.
