  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I have MANY people to thank for a very unexpected and overwhelmingly generous gift I received this past Thursday. As some of you know, my second daughter was born on Friday and this amazing gift was in support of that event, in support of my family, my sanity and the goodness that flows from such a beautiful experience. It's my understanding that this may have taken months to coordinate and finally execute, and I can tell you that from a person who is rarely if ever surprised by anything, this was one of those times when I was hit so hard, so deep that this grand act of unsuspected kindness brought me (literally) to my knees.

I know "thank you" really isn't enough (not for me) and some day I will find a way to correctly / aptly express my gratitude to each of you who contributed, but for now let me just say that I feel very blessed to have a place where this kind of thing can happen, with a group of gentlemen who are beyond what I could ever hope for in a "friend" and that as my new daughter grows up, she'll constantly be reminded that there is goodness in this world beyond what she can imagine, and I'll be able to prove it by pointing her to this moment.
