Been away for the last week.

My wife's mom passed away last weekend, so we've been in Texas since last Sunday and just got back. She'd been in the late stages of Alzheimer's for a while, so it wasn't unexpected, but still not easy on everyone. Y'all can understand how that goes, sad for the loss, but also knowing she's relieved of the suffering of Alzheimer's.

It was nice seeing everyone, though, and visiting with her relatives and friends.

After a long trip, it's nice to be back home. And, it's taken me over an hour to check 10 pages worth of threads!

I am sorry to hear about your Ma-in-Law. This is so tough on the family, and I wish you and yours every good thing while dealing with the loss. My father died of (at best estimation) Picks disease, very similiar to Alz.
