I have a couple of quandries that I know someone in this most helpful, knowledgeable forum could help me with:

I have an older gifted Cusano cigar. The band is not like the current ones on the market. I was just curious as to when it was most likely sold, or when the newer bands came into existence.

Also, I have a "Criollo" cigar that I'm sure was parchment wrapped, and banded at the foot with a "CAO" ribbon. Again, when were these made, and when did the bands change?

I'll attach pics of both bands. Thank you so much!!!

it looks like you have two aged cigars there! The first pic is of Cusano's Corojo '96. After running out of tobacco, they came out with the Corojo 97 which is still available. The second is one of the first bands for the CAO Criollo. Both should be nicely aged by now.
