Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.
FWIW ... if a wine isn't fit to drink, it does not go into anything I'm cooking. My wife opened a bottle of it this past week ('twas a Cab if I recall correctly). She poured a glass, tasted it...let it sit for a minute to open up....tasted it again...
...and then she poured the remainder of the glass down the drain, put the cork back in the bottle, and deemed it "cooking wine".
You know, it's interesting you say that....she's really particular about her white wines with cooking, but not so much with her reds. I think it has something to do with the stuff she cooks (again, I dunno. I don't really pay attention to all that). :rofl:FWIW ... if a wine isn't fit to drink, it does not go into anything I'm cooking.
Cooking is sort of like computer data processing = garbage in, garbage out.
