I love beer but don't get the concept of HTF beer. Maybe I'm just crazy.

What don't u get? How it exists or happens? The fact that some of the best brews (excluding home brews) are only distributed within 100 or so mile radius of the brewery (think 3 Floyd's who even says on their website no we ain't shippin it to you) or some are seasonal and due to capacity and window of a availability they are only shipped in small amounts to particular markets? Or is there something else?

I've had almost all of these beers and I can say there are others that should be on there instead. Most of these are just products of the hype machine.
