  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Being a big espresso fan here are some cigars I enjoyed pairing with recently.

1. Graycliff Vintage '99
2. Casa Fuente Beli
3. Davidoff short perfecto
4. OR Tatuaje El Truinfador.

Hope this helps!

All excellent choices; thanks, guys!

I was jonesing for a cigar with my coffee so bad last night.

Mt secret weapon is to order w triple, one of the shots is a "long pull" and is a longer push with more water. Added to a dopio it is like have a cup of espresso without the any bitterness or too much of a good thing. PERFECT.

I find that anejo's work well. Though they aren't exactly the "every" morning cigar. I like having these sticks as well with espresso:
Man O War - ruination but the regular will do
Tat j21
monte white - a lighter smoke but hell I enjoy it with espresso or even coffee

Other cigars have been mentioned. Though I like stronger cigars and even smoke them in the morning I have found that it doesn't have to be strong to be enjoyed with a espresso or cappuccino.

Jack, I've always found smoking a mild cigar went very well with coffee. I am not a mild cigar fan but with coffee it seems to add a very good flavor that doesn't over power each other. Pairing is ment to inhance flavor not overpower it. I've actually enjoyed cigars I don't normally smoke due to size. Usually a corona and again mild to medium in profile.

Something I have been finding myself doing more and more lately is smoking a milder cigar with my morning espresso. I like the contrast of a really strong double shot of java and a creamier cigar. Granted my idea of a milder cigar is probably stronger than most...
